My trip to the zoo on my birthday! I know, overdue much? But yeah I just found the roll of film, and most of it turned out too dark ): These are the only ones I could salvage. I know you're thinking, omg what is there to do at the zoo, damn boring how old are you blah blah, but it was really fun I swear! Maybe cos of the company too :) Mah packed lunch and we had it at the pavilion and stuff, definitely one of the best birthdays I've ever had (:

Had sooo much fun at the zoo, too bad we were too late to see all the feedings and the Fragile Forest! I'm so afraid of the butterflies and bugs, but I still wanna go! Maybe next time, and if you're thinking its damn smelly and all, its really not that bad anymore! As compared to like when we were kids and we went on school trips there, I could still remember how bad the hippos smelled :/ But now everything's like damn nice, the only thing that was annoying were the mozzies. Nothing OFF can't handle!

Rest up on facebook! This year's Christmas was quiet, but good. I guess I'm not one for big crazy parties anyway. Singapore Idol Finals on now, who do you think will win? Bleh, I don't really care anyway. I just thought Ken's comment about being more of a crowd controller than a judge was hilarious. Dick is such a diva, did you see how much bling that man had on him? And Sezairi or whatever his name is, his dream was fucking random lol. Okay, I'm rambling. I'm out to upload more photos!

 Christmas Eve:



The boys got invited to Castle Low with the family for Christmas Eve dinner, seems like everyone in the family were raving about our Alphamale after he made his appearance more too often then once in our holes. Told him to play along but I wasn't ready for the onslaught of "interviews" and I felt like I was bad ass to lie to everyone, including myself. Not cool. 
What's cool: was the fact that I've officially picked up, and got myself hooked on Pokepokepoker, the next cool game after Rockband. Caught up abit with an old cousin I used to wrestle and make tears while the boys crowded over the sexciting conversation going on msn with grounded Kel. Later we had a quick 4way romp on the bed, the squeezy cool dog included before the woman came and packed me home at 3am.

Christmas Day:


Was awfully miserable at home with the woman. Yes I'm still grounded. The saving grace was Dad's side calling up and inviting us for a Christmas meal at night. The woman had her own party to go to so it was just me and my sister gorging ourselves on too much good food. I called Elbs and Clement over cuz I was literally wasting myself away in boredom. Sending the table of aunties into gasps and ohmy with my shave wasnt very entertaining for long.The cousins met their distant relation for the first time, and looked Alphamale up and down: second rounds of interviews and family history onslaught. To quote him, an interesting operation. Meet my raised eyebrows.

We left just before midnight dragging my sister along to go meet Samuel and his "Tan sisters" Sam and Manda for quick supper. Dempsey was closed shutters so we headed off to Holland for expensive dessert at 2am dessetbar. An interesting bite, sat around till 2 am and almost dozed off in sleepiness. Clement really fell asleep mid conversation, his head kinda droop still and his eyes closed, in a hilarious awkward position. Christmas ended on a better note, though I was more than disappointed at the fact that this is probably the 2nd bad christmas in a row I'm having. The Grinch must be out somewhere. Let's just say I'm looking forward to the new year. Trust that it will bring about some change, if not for the better.

And yes, that's my Christmas dress I wore two days in a row. Figured it doesnt really matter since technically, its less than 24hours between the two events plus it took me SUPER long to find a green maxi dress for Christmas I won't let the sight go to waste. Its quite nice, though it requires me in my 5" wedges and to run about in this means hitching the skirt up to my knees. Plus, Clement's gift (the orange glass pendant) from Japan matched the dress rather nicely.

THE (PIACK) CHALET V2








We're back from the Piack and whew, it was a good one. Sorry its such an overdue I'm going to do a quick word post for keepsake. My photographer gorged himself on too much alcohol and died somewhere after taking 10 photos so I'm left with the very little photos that still remains in my camera after everyone sneakily deleted all their party animal evidence caught on film. 

Day 1:
Checked in at the chalet and headed off to the pool to tan and finish my book. Clement supposedly had to go back to camp so the rest of us nua-ed in the room till everyone else came at dinner. So nice seeing everyone again for the first time in weeks I was so excited I barely touched my dinner. There was Samantha back from york, Andrew back from australia, CS from uni, Manda from her mountainload of schoolwork.Then I also met Holas for the first time in real life from facebook.

Spent the first half of the party getting everything in order, shoving the bags in a safe corner, getting drinks gifts and what not out for people. I was almost too busy to be drinking. Clement came in with a birthday cake to surprise me and it was delicious. Gave out the kazoos and it was such a laugh seeing everyone trying to figure the instrument out. We had light sticks for laughs and tampered little party poopers which we filled with powder.The giant firework pooper went off by surprise in my hands and littered the entire room in shiny confetti and glitter. Warmed the party up with dare games, though it stopped when it got weak after we got bored of kissing and nipple scenes and we decided to take the drinking up a notch. The mixers were all gone by then so everyone was getting hard liquor forced down their throats. Wine bottles after beer bottles broke in a failed attempt to open the seal and several of us had cuts so there was blood on the walls and shirts. I died after smashing my own bottle, going into shrieking hysterics when all I could see was blood.

Then the 2nd half of the party was spent putting my fingers down my throat forcing vomit out. attempts to sober up failed so I resumed screaming and convulsing on the bed, or so I heard. and the Butter Crew had to take over after being given second warning by the management. I knocked myself out somewhere after falling off a piggy back hitting my head and fell asleep. Have no idea about what happened to the rest though interesting bits were about elbey dancing, nigel crying and moaning and merlioning, from which one of us managed to strike gold by puking on some bengster downstairs over the railing. Samuel and Hanlong holding hands and staring into each other eyes and finally slept together tangled up in legs, both guys fyi. Almost everyone was smoking by then, some idoit stubbed me with the lighted end on my cut sending me howling off again. Never managed to sober up so I was out in some awkward position on the floor until someone put me in fresh change and back on what remained of the bed. Must be the Butter Crew. 

Day 2:
Half the day was spent paying for damages and cleaning up the room. Most of the people had left by then so the rest of us were trying to clean up the room but failed terribly so we called room service in the end. The lady who came looked at the mess with such shock it was almost funny. We watched Avatar which was AWESOME to the max, and later drove out to get dinner and pick Kel up. The rest of the day was rather mundane cuz they played cards and I wasnt interested in it so I wandered around the compound looking for parties to crash and cats to play with. Somehow the boys kept tabs on me and stalked me back to my room, not before me finding out there was a party of gays next door. Went over with a can of booze and they spent ten minutes trying to spell my name, we took a picture and they finally retreated back to their territory when Clement Nicky and Samuel stalked me out again and I was wordlessly sent back to the room to fight for beds and pillows. The boys decided to go out for supper but me kel and elbs stayed in the room and we chatted about primary school days because we're all from Peichun. When they came back, we lapse into a round of truth and truth and oh boy we had lots of interesting answers, some of which I could have fallen out of bed in shock at. Fell asleep after 3 am.

Day 3:
We got kicked out in the morning by noisy aunties when we refused to wake up, packed everything up and headed off to grab breakfast and played go karts at escape. Epic, go karting was so fun. Fighting over the fastest cars over taking like mad. I ended up in the fastest car but samuel rammed into me and I spun the wrong way backward so I was stuck facing the wrong direction on the slope much to the amusement of everyone waiting in line downstairs. The viking made me sick so we went on the wet boats and got soaked. Clement had a leg cramp in the tiny boat it was quite funny hahaha. Had like 3 hot dogs for break fast and lunch, I actually miss orange julius, have forgotten what awesome hotdogs and juice they have.

More or less it was an awesome party, as if we're back in our little house together again. Lazing in it, cleaning up, fighting over beds, partying, exposing secrets and just being like.. Family.

So anyway, anyone know where the lj-cut button in rich text mode disappeared to? It really sucks that LJ's rich text mode sucks, and html editing just auto removes all my changes. I spent so much time trying to edit this stupid post with an lj cut. Time for me to shower and off to Prada's! YAY AM FINALLY GETTING OUT OF THE HOUSE. But I'm feeling kinda lazy. Sigh. Out!

 

 

It's day 2 of utter boredom. 10 more days till Mah comes back. Already I feel really loserish, because I haven't stepped out of the house except to be a chauffeur to my dad. I really should Get A Life. Or learn to play the piano. Neither will make me happy unless you're here. The only thing making me happy now are Kokokrunch cookies. The only good thing about this year's Christmas is the amount of Christmas cookies lying around the house. I swear, overturn the carpet and you will find some almond cookies or sprinkles of glory. Or maybe just some crumbs cos OOPS! I ATE EVERYTHING! Teeheehee, I'm such a glutton. Proud of it. Don't look at me like that, no one eats the cookies anyway. Really.

Sigh, please come home soon, Bahrain is such a boring place anyway, it's all sand and fake beaches and camels. I dreamt last night that you spent a day there and took a plane back home to me. I woke up with a smile on my face and my maid staring at me. Did I mention she's become all nice again? Psychopath...

 

I'll be away for most of the week for a quick escape. Enjoy your pre Christmas parties ! 

This whole week I think I suffered in silence like hell because I know I've lost the last person that I can confide in about stuff, and things aren't going to be the same, I just feel it in my bones. I've been talking about the most queer topics, sprouting the weirdest things, bringing up the most random topics, and struggling, to stay afloat. Hate feeling miserable during Christmas but as much as the smile plasters on your face, there's still that unavoidable tinge. The last straw snapped moments ago, I didn't even have a corner in the house to curl up and cry. After a long hard day, I still had to be the strong brave girl that survives each round. But I'm afraid the shield's getting weaker. I find myself in the cycle of being surprised at each onslaught of tears that comes, furiously wiping them away, and putting the smile back on because I don't want pity. 

Anyway, I'm trying to be really positive so...here goes. The shift at Isetan's over for now, but it was good while it lasted. Getting to know the new staffs, reuniting with the old, kept well fed by the multitudes of sampling promoters, getting bribed by little boys, listening to husbands sigh about their wives, watching the wives being tai tais, pushing fat babies around in branded prams ... Juicy Couture, chatting in the freezer with the frozen goods boys, being praised by the manager whom I thought was a grumpy fellow at first, chatting up regulars, seeing customers happy, getting promoted, singing good morning every day I step into the store, and receiving little encouraging textes when the job gets tiring mid day. There are still moments I wander off to find myself a corner to daydream abit, but God's been too good in those corners there were listening ears and smiles from people in the same boat as me. Something only we'd understand and no words are needed. 

 God, I'm lapsing into the blue mood again. I shall end here as I've lost my train of thoughts. Tomorrow will be a better day.

 

 

 

I'm rather drained to blog this week. Prepping for all the parties starting friday, whew, I hope everyone get drunk at the chalet hahahahha.

Sometimes this boy makes me miss him even when we just saw each other hours ago.
